The filter systems and HVAC air treatment cabinets from V&T Group BV are Always custom made in close contact with the customer. This sounds expensive, but is in fact more affordable, because the customer decides what the system should look like and which accessories have to be added. In this way you could choose for a simple filter cabinet with a manually controlled ventilator or a complete HVAC air treatment cabinet with heat return system (energy saving), automated controls and high grade filters. Of course we will provide you with our technical advise, but the customer decides. On picture 2 you can see a good example of a very specific filter system that was totally manufactured to the customer's wishes. It's a filter system for a small cleanroom with a 3D printer in which acetone is released during the process. Air Purifier Air Cleaners

The Air Purifier air cleaners from V&T Group are the ideal solution for improving the indoor air quality. The Air Purifier sucks the polluted air in from two sides at the bottom of the unit and ejects the purified air at the top. These air cleaners improve the indoor air quality and decrease the need for fresh air from outside of the building, which results in lower energy consumption, because the air from outside has to be cooled or heated. Other advantages are the much lower cost price of the units in comparison to standard air conditioning units (HVAC) and the easy installation and start-up since no air ducts (pipes) have to be installed. Despite the use of strong and economical EC ventilators inside of the Air Purifiers, the units don’t produce much noise. This is because the ventilator is placed between the pre-filter (panel filter) and the fine-filter (compact filter). CZ MT-IBA

CZ How the MT-IBA Works Through inlet dirty water flows into the filter housing. Normal pollution rates are 1-10 mg/l or 1-5 NTU. The filter elements on the rolls ( MT-IBA-2 2 rolls; MT-IBA-4 4 rolls; MT-IBA-8 8 rolls) filter down to 0,5 micron depending on the flux rate. For wastewater treatment at a flux of 200l/m2/h this results in a filtration level of 0,5 micron and for drinking water at 3000-6000l/m2/h it gives 3-5 micron. Each roll consists of 24 cassettes with multicore polyester fibers. The smaller particles are filtered by the fiberlayers on a plastic drain support. Through this support the water flows into a pipe and down to the outlet chamber. When a preset dP is reached, the common valve block based on a shifting device, closes the in/outlet and opens the drain . The content of the housing is drained and a flush pump starts. Rotary Drumfilters

Rotary Drumfilters The operation of the drumfilter is based on the principle of suspended and floating solids getting stuck on the rotating drum while the liquid flows through the slots of the wedge wire drum. The rotatingdrum carries the filtered solids to be removed by a scraper mechanism. The scraper is pressed to the drum by an adjustable spring mechanism. ACF Coarse filter

V&T developed a special filter for protection of pumps, piping systems and process equipment against big particles. The filter has a special construction and combines flow patterns and turbulence for cleaning of a wedge wire filter element. The filtration direction is from inside to outside. The cleaning is by the liquid itself and can be made manually or automatic. The cleaning cycle only takes 5 seconds. When the solids are heavy or sticky, the separating mechanism can be assisted by a scraper mechanism. Next to the back-wash ACF filter , V&T Group did develop a new series with a mechanical cleaning system. A pneumatic cylinder moves a mechanical scraper over a wedge wire filter element in an axial direction. The difficult back washable dirt as there are : fibers , flakes of granules or organic waste, will be shoved to the outlet and drained away through the flush valve.

Parabolic Screens Static parabolic screens find their origin in the mining industry for the separation of dry particles.At present most applications are in solid-liquid separation of granulates, fibers, organic material etc. The separating principle is based on peeling mechanism. The wedge wire screen built from profiled metalwire stands at a 90° angle to the direction of the liquid and the flat side of the wire under an angle of about 60°. This results in a separation of the liquid from the solids, letting the solids slide down by gravity. The separating efficiency is about half the slot width. On the frontside a collector catches the solids. When the solids are heavy or sticky the separating mechanism can be assisted by a vibrating motor, spay nozzles and or a brush mechanism. Woven and Non-woven Filter cloth

V&T Group has a whole range of woven and non-woven filter cloth. Our program consists of more than 350 different types, which all have other properties. It is also possible to combine these different types, by laminating them. The customer can choose between woven cloth (permanent), which is cleanable and has a long life, or non-woven cloth (disposable), which is cheaper. The textiles we sell, are already exclusively in use in the Fiat factories and are used in production plants of Suzuki, GM and Alcoa. We are also able to add properties to our filter media, we call these media >intelligent textiles=. Examples of properties are: oil absorbing, chemical binding and bacteria and viruses killing (anti bio-fouling).
